Description
There are many places in the world now where you can actually see the smog, muck, filth etc. in the air, and I find it really scary where our environment is going. San Francisco is supposedly one of the 'greenest' cities, as is the entire bay area. The other day when my girlfriend and I hiked up to the top of Berkeley we noticed how smoggy and gross the bay area looked. I snapped a few pictures anyway, hoping I could later turn them 'pretty', but the smog was so hazy I couldn't do it. So I decided to use them as a political piece about how toxic the air is these days.

it's a look into the future! or into another world... i can totally see a movie made in a setting like the last image.
i was actually sickened when I first came to California from Minnesota. There is quite a difference in the smell of the air. Even on a cool day in Cali, I can feel a thickness of pollution when I breathe.
